The main goal of the 3rd week of the project was to finish the project proposal and to have our preliminary CAD model completed. We collaborated over the weekend and in class on Wednesday to get work done on the project proposal, and we came to the conclusion that the most efficient way to do it would be to divide up each part between team members. The introduction and abstract were more of a collaborative effort, but the rest was divided. Jack completed the deliverables and expertise, Andrew completed the technical activities and project timeline, Ethan completed the budget and Matt completed references and facilities.
While working on the proposal, we also created a proposal presentation to share in class on Friday, some slides from this are below.

Finally, we completed our initial CAD model. We modeled the main face mask after the average human face. Because every face already follows several biological proportions, the mask should be fairly easy to change sizes based on a few parameters, such as face width, height and nose length.

We also created a visualization for the seal that will go around the outside of the mask. It uses a T shape extrusion to attach to the mask, and a hollow tube to allow for compression against the face.

Next Week:
We will begin work on the assembly and revise the mask and rest of the components as needed.
